Review: Little Girls – Thrills (Mexican Summer)

Toronto’s Little Girls emerged almost literally out of nowhere with this debut 12″. Cimmerian samples glazed with minimalist, bedroom-goth melodies and vocals that blend in perfectly with a feeling of “king for a day”. The recordings are short but sweet and evidently, well thought out. Intricate patterns and art-y bass lines are repeated throughout this EP. Definitely something you’d be proud  to spend your money on…If it wasn’t sold out.
