Review: Book of Caverns- S/T (Bart Records)

The Book of Caverns tape is delving into what seems to be a totally new genre. Obscure guitar riffs topped off with aggressive vocals that seem to place your mind in a state of comfort and solace. This seems to be the soundtrack to some medieval battle to the death. A blood covered knight belting out “I died with salt in my heart!”. Despite the gruesome imagery being described, the music is unbelievable. As is the packaging and art. A stunning watercolor background with a transparent slip of paper showcasing black scenery. I praise this thing.
